Plain bonnet has a long neck curtain to protect against sunburn. Ties are attached at the center back of the bonnet so they don't get lost. You can bunch up the bonnet by pulling on the ties to make a more customized fit. Pioneer women rarely matched the bonnet to the skirt as bonnets were made from whatever scraps that were available.

We have different sizes but many children can wear and adult bonnet simply by gathering in the neck with the ties. We would recommend purchasing the adult size for versatility. The child size bonnet is for children under the age of five.

For an additional $4.00, you can special order the bonnet to match your skirt or dress. Ordering the same color bonnet without picking the "matching bonnet" option will not insure that you will get a matching bonnet.
