Quilted Petticoat is quilted on the bottom third of the skirt for warmth in the winter. It can also be worn under a dress to provide additional, soft shaping to the skirt. The Texas State Museum dress in the Custom Fit section is shown with a quilted petticoat instead of a hoop. This version uses factory quilted fabric.
